This Privacy Policy describes how MomenTicks ("the app", "we") handles information when you use the iOS mobile application. By using MomenTicks you accept the practices described here.

Events, dates, notes, reminders, background images, and preferences (theme, font, language) are stored locally on your iPhone using standard iOS mechanisms (UserDefaults, sandbox files, and App Groups to share with widgets). They are never uploaded to any server.
When you configure a home screen widget, MomenTicks shares that event's data with the widget through an iOS App Group — the data stays on-device.

When you use the built-in image search, your search term is sent to the Unsplash API(Unsplash Inc., USA) to return results. We don't send your name or any identifier.

As an iOS app, Apple collects data per its own privacy policy when you download and use the app: apple.com/legal/privacy.
We never show third-party advertising, use your data for commercial profiling, or sell it.

MomenTicks is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. Parents who believe their child sent us data should email us so we can delete it.
We apply reasonable measures to protect your data: HTTPS/TLS for all connections to Firebase and Unsplash, Firestore security rules that limit access, and sensitive data kept on-device only. No internet transmission is 100% secure, but we do what's reasonable to minimize risk.
We may update this policy periodically. The current version will always be available at this URL with the "Last updated" date above. Substantial changes will be notified inside the app.
